As we unveil our rebrand, we sat down with our owner Erin to dive into the vision behind the new name and look. From fresh visuals to a refined approach, this evolution reflects the studio’s growth and commitment to delivering exceptional design for homeowners.
In this Q&A, Erin shares insights on the inspiration behind the rebrand, what clients can expect, and how this new identity aligns with the studio’s future.
Why do a rebrand?
Simply put, it was time. This business started over 15 years ago, and it has grown and evolved in ways we couldn’t have predicted.
While kitchen design has always been at our core, the name Hello Kitchen no longer reflected everything we do.
Over the past several years, we’ve expanded far beyond kitchens—designing entire homes, additions, and even exteriors.
Hello Home felt like a natural evolution—one that better represents our full scope of services today while also giving us the flexibility to grow in new ways in the future.
It also reflects our dedication to bringing the same level of detail and intentionality once reserved for kitchens into every corner of the home.
Has anything changed with this rebrand?
Absolutely—for the better!
We’ve refined our systems, expanded our offerings, and grown our team. But more than anything, our focus has sharpened on what matters most: managing client expectations.
Yes, we are trained interior designers, but at our core, we work in a service industry.
No matter the scale of a project or the budget, our role is to guide clients through the process, helping them prioritize decisions in a way that feels clear and intentional.
Renovations and new builds are high-stakes—there’s a lot of money and emotion involved.
That’s why we’ve built an organized, collaborative, and guided approach—designed to make the process feel less overwhelming and, most importantly, enjoyable.
We’ve extended our attention to detail beyond the drawings, shaping a client experience that feels as thoughtfully designed as the spaces themselves.
What does your new brand represent?
At its core, Hello Home is about redefining how people experience and connect with their spaces. We can all agree—when you’re in an environment that feels homey, it has a profound impact on how you feel. Whether it’s your personal residence or a place you visit, a well-designed space can bring comfort, ease, and a sense of belonging.
With this rebrand, I want to lean into that idea even more. Function has always been at the heart of our designs—each space is uniquely tailored to its user’s needs. But beyond function, our goal is to create environments that feel warm, inviting, and truly like home. Because great design isn’t just about how a space looks—it’s about how it makes you feel.
What are the new offerings?
Our main service has always been comprehensive design, bridging the gap between homeowners and contractors—guiding projects from concept to construction. With this service, we refine layouts and configurations to optimize flow, connect clients with builders, assist in the bidding process, and navigate revisions to meet budget needs. The final deliverable serves as the guiding reference throughout construction.
Now, we’re expanding our offerings to better support clients at every stage:
Construction Oversight – For those comprehensive design projects, we now provide hands-on support throughout the construction phase, ensuring design details are executed as planned and offering guidance when unexpected decisions arise.
Furnishing & Styling – We’re officially offering full-scale furnishing and styling services, adding that extra layer of curated coziness and refinement to finished spaces.
Consulting Services – Our consulting service is a flexible option for a variety of clients. We work with builders on new builds and flips, selecting materials and finishes, and assist DIY homeowners looking to incorporate custom details into their spaces.
These expanded services allow us to meet clients wherever they are in the process—whether they need full-scale design, construction support, or expert guidance on specific selections.
